KIM TAYLOR - Nurse Care

Registered Nurse

Kim has been a registered nurse since 1978. She is greatly trusted in our community and we are grateful to have had her on our PHC team for the last two years. For 10 years Kim has worked in management positions within our Wanaka aged care services. We were very proud to have her come onboard as our managing RN in 2021.

Kim is a superstar with her ‘Gold Standard’ philosophy of care and continues to keep our service focused on a client focused personal service. Kim shines with her strong health and safety focus, protecting our team with structure and regulations that are necessary. She is also a Careerforce Assessor as she values professional development and education. When there is spare time in her week, she is constantly working away on another training program for our team to tick off yet another competency course. Her enthusiasm and constant support to provide the best service to our community is inspiring and contagious. I am extremely privileged to be working with Kim and am confident your time with her will be worthwhile.

Kim has a passion for end of life care and has helped us gain a strong network with Otago Community Hospice which we value. Having ‘end of life’ choices explained to our clients is a precious service and Kim works hard to enable clients and their families are well supported and informed.

Kim is a grandmother of 3 children and two grand dogs. She now enjoys a wonderful balance of work and lifestyle, and is keen to keep up her meaningful work and take part in our zoom care project.
